CULDAW
CULDAW (Collaborative Ubiquitous Digital Audio Workstation) is free software, which means, among others, that the source code is free and that you don't need to pay to use it. Besides, anyone can make changes in the code and reuse it, providing that the result is then shared under the same conditions.
This tool is a Symbian S60 creation that enables users to compose and play live music with mobile phones in a collaborative way.
It includes an step sequencer previously loaded with drum and bass sounds.
Users can connect to the Internet to compose music together, using the interconnection capacities of the mobile phones.
This project is part of the HCI research and development line (Human-Computer Interaction) and an evidence of the compromise of intelligenia with free software.
