In 2004, José Carlos joined the Web team of the ETSIIT and the development team of axesor (Infotel Group). For the next two years, he acquired knowledge and experience in web interface application development.
In 2006, he graduated in Computing Engineering and he left axesor to join the Computer Architecture and Computer Technology Department of the University of Granada, while he continued collaborating with the Web Team of the ETSIIT.
In November 2006, the three founding partners of intelligenia considered creating a development team together. In 2007, they started working jointly, and intelligenia Soluciones Informáticas was set up one year later.
José Carlos is the current Executive Manager of intelligenia and does therefore guarantee the success of all the projects that our company takes over. He is still part of the Computing Architecture and Technology Department and of the Web Team of the ETSIIT.
In the academic field, he graduated in Systems Computing Engineering in 2004, obtaining the extraordinary prize for the best academic record. In 2006, he graduated in Computing Engineering, obtaining again the extraordinary prize of the best academic record, and a national prize awarded to the three better academic records of Spain. In 2007, he finished a Master in Computer and Network Technologies. He is currently working on a PhD in bioinformatics, parallelism and optimization algorithms applied to fields of interest for the fight against diseases such as cancer or Alzheimer's Disease.
In the personal field, he likes going to the cinema, enjoying a pleasant dinner with friends, and travelling around the world whenever he has the time. He has already been to London, Paris, Rome, Switzerland, Germany, York, Liverpool, New York, Lisbon, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide, and has lived in Manchester for four months and in Sydney (Australia) for over three months. He learns something new in every trip, and it contributes to his personal and professional evolution.
