History & Background

intelligenia was born in 2007 in the city of Granada, although it was only a “concept” at that time. It started as a group of professionals who shared their knowledge, their clients and collaborated to carry out some projects. At the beginning of the year 2008, the Company was set up, then intelligenia acquired juridical personality and the founding members threw themselves into the project.

However, the origins can be established a few years before 2007, around 2004, in the ETSIIT Web team of Granada. A group of students and recent graduates started to work as a team and, years later, made intelligenia become a reality.

In that period, the future founding partners spent their free time, not only learning the last things about web 2.0 technology, but also innovating and helping with their suggestions to build the new concept of the Web, using as a testing ground the ETSIIT web page, the school where they studied.

The Web Team acted as a melting pot, a meeting point for great professionals full of ideas and eager to get to work. From that moment on, they shared their experiences and knowledge, until they created intelligenia.
